It feels like it has been a while since we’ve had any kind of THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO update. In truth it was only at the start of the month where I gave you some new TV spots.
Well another update has come our way and this one pertains to the film’s soundtrack; scored by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross (the pair behind the Oscar winning score for THE SOCIAL NETWORK). The artwork has been released and it is a pretty sweet looking cover.
The announcement also included that it would be released through Null in North America and Mute Records internationally. Apparently we need to check for more info to come on December 2nd (perhaps that is actually the soundtrack release date?).
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is the first film in Columbia Pictures’ three-picture adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s literary blockbuster The Millennium Trilogy. Directed by David Fincher and starring Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara, the film is based on the first novel in the trilogy, which altogether have sold 50 million copies in 46 countries and become a worldwide phenomenon. The screenplay is by Steven Zaillian.
