The Grand trailer

LUCKY YOU totally killed my interest in poker films, particularly since there seem to have been an abundance of them lately. Luckily, THE GRAND takes a slightly more novel approach to said topic, being a largely improvisational comedy using a handful of actors playing characters competing in an actual poker tournament. The film is written and directed by Zak Penn, the dude who wrote the second two X-MEN films, and don’t forget, that cinematic gem INSPECTOR GADGET! You can check the trailer out for the film HERE and I have to admit it looks like a ton of fun. There’s a cracker jack cast involved, with (to name but a few) David Cross, Woody Harrelson, Chris Parnell, Ray Romano, Dennis Farina, Judy Greer (who I find insanely attractive), and lo and behold, Shannon Elizabeth! I assumed she had gone into the Witness Protection Programme or something, the way that chick just up and disappeared.
