The Hound: Zoey Deutch to star in quirky horror film

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Deadline reports that actress Zoey Deutch (Vampire Academy, Zombieland: Double Tap) has attached herself to the quirky body horror film The Hound, after – according to the article – "Deutch came across the script on the Purple List, NYU’s Black-List inspired list." It is written by screenwriter Lisa Duva.

Here's the official synopsis:

The story follows a timid dog-groomer, Callie (Deutch). After being bitten by a mysterious stray dog, she’s forced to wrestle with dark, new desires as her body goes through unexpected changes.

Meanwhile, the film is still in its early stages, so no official start or release date or any other plot details, but we'll keep you updated!

So what do you guys think? And do you think this is actually about werewolves? I have a bet going.

Either way, sound off below!
