The Iceman cometh

JoBloJoBlo

Back when I was a wide-eyed college student studying pre-law at Rutgers, I had to write a case study on notorious local legend Richard “Iceman” Kuklinski. Kuklinski was a hitman for the Gambino crime family and bragged at killing over 200 people while maintaining an otherwise normal existence with a wife and family. Now Allen and Albert Hughes (FROM HELL) have signed on to direct a film based on the life of The Iceman. The film will be based on the book by Philip Carlo “Confessions of a Mafia Contract Killer”. Carlo’s book came under some scrutiny when some of Kuklinski’s exaggerations were printed as fact (Iceman was known as a pathological liar). The Hughes brothers are currently looking for a writer to adapt a script and will then shop the project to studios. The brothers are also attached to direct the big-screen adaptation of KUNG FU for Warner Bros.
