The King’s Man trailer: Tour the whole bloody series with a new look

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Grab your umbrella, mind your manners, and get ready for an action-packed look at the Kingsman legacy. 20th Century Studios unfurled a special look at The King's Man today, which opens in theaters on December 22, 2021.

The King's Man is directed by Matthew Vaughn and stars Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Brühl, with Djimon Hounsou, and Charles Dance. As a prequel to Vaughn's Kingsman: The Secret Service and Kingsman: The Golden Circle, the newest film in the franchise finds a collection of history's worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gathering to plot a war to wipe out millions. Now, one man must race against time to stop them. Discover the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency in The King's Man.

In the new trailer, we get our best look yet at the long-delayed prequel, as well as a great look back at the founding films of the Kingsman franchise. In my opinion, the footage serves as a great reminder of how much planning and passion goes into the making of these movies. The Kingsman films are always looking to one-up themselves, and The King's Man looks to be no exception. While I'm still waiting for a Roxy spin-off to be announced, it'll be a blast to witness the origin of the Kingsman organization with this new film.
