The latest Battleship trailer is about explosions and stuff

Is this OceanTransformers? Did Michael Bay direct this? Nope. It’s just another trailer for BATTLESHIP brought to you by Hasbro the company that gifted you with TRANSFORMERS.

This film really does nothing for me. The only thing that gets me hyped about it is that there will be a Rifftrax of it after it releases on DVD. I like quite a few of the actors in this film, but aside from a paycheck don’t get why someone would want to do something like this. I get TRANSFORMERS, I don’t get an adaptation of BATTLESHIP.

All I know is that it has got to be better than TORQUE, which is currently one of the worst films I’ve ever seen. Well, enjoy the mindless fun with the trailer below.

Synopsis:

Peter Berg (Hancock) produces and directs Battleship, an epic-scaled action-adventure that unfolds across the seas, in the skies and over land as our planet fights for survival against a superior force. Alex Hopper, a Naval officer assigned to the USS John Paul Jones; Brooklyn Decker as Sam Shane, a physical therapist and Hopper’s fiancee; Alexander Skarsgard as Hopper’s older brother, Stone, Commanding Officer of the USS Sampson; Rihanna as Petty Officer Raikes, Hopper’s crewmate and a weapons specialist on the USS John Paul Jones; and international superstar Liam Neeson as Hopper and Stone’s superior (and Sam’s father), Admiral Shane.
