The non-Hammer Winklevoss is the non-Neeson Ra’s al Ghul in The Dark Knight Rises

You saw actor Josh Pence in THE SOCIAL NETWORK and didn’t even realize it — at least not until the behind-the-scenes clips and discussion revealed him as the second Winklevoss twin, whose face was digitally replaced by Armie Hammer’s chiseled mug.

Pence is going to get some major face-time next year in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy-topper THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. Well, Pence’s actual screen time will be brief… but you know everyone in the world is going to see the movie multiple times, so it certainly won’t hurt his career. Particularly since Pence will be playing the younger version of BATMAN BEGINS villain Ra’s al Ghul, previously portrayed by Liam Neeson before he took a vertical train ride.

Heat Vision says the character will be seen in flashbacks 30 years prior to the events in RISES. Considering the secrecy surrounding the anticipated project, the revelation of even something fairly minor is somewhat surprising, but it would make sense given the popular speculation that Marion Cotillard will be playing vengeful daughter Talia al Ghul. Feel free to make your guesses as to how it all fits together.

The sequel also has Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Morgan Freeman, Juno Temple, and of course Christian Bale hanging out in Gotham City.
