A couple of weeks ago we showed you the surprisingly strong trailer for Henry Hobson’s MAGGIE, which features Arnold Schwarzenegger in a full-blown dramatic role. Today we bring you the simple but effective poster for the zombie drama, which also stars Abigail Breslin. I’m digging the western vibe here, which is tinged with a bit of ghastliness when you get a good look at Breslin’s face.

A deadly zombie virus has put a plague on the world.  When Maggie, a vivacious young woman becomes infected, her father brings her home to let her be with their family.  As Maggie’s condition worsens, their relationship is tested, a father’s love holding on stronger than the disease. This heart-wrenching twist on the zombie apocalypse puts a human face on an inexplicable horror.

MAGGIE hits theaters and VOD on May 8th.
