Finnish filmmaker Antti Jokinen’s THE RESIDENT is a flick we’ve been covering intermittently, the last time being for a trailer we shot at you back in April. You know the flick I’m talking about…the one starring Hilary Swank (below) and Jeffery Dean Morgan in what could amount to SLIVER for a new generation. Yeah, that one! Well, it looks like THE RESIDENT has found a home!
According to Variety, Image Entertainment has secured U.S. rights to Jokinen’s flick, with plans to release it theatrically this spring (March in the U.K.)

Any supernatural element in the film may just be a red herring. I see Pace as Billy Baldwin and Swank a ginger-headed Sharon Stone (minus the supple ass)…who’s with me?
Michael Massee, Aunjanue Ellis, Penny Balfour, Kisha Sierra, Peggy Miley, Michael Showers, Alexandria Morrow, Cliff Gravel and Sandy K. Shelby round out the cast.
