Oh wow! I must have completely lost track of time, because apparently the second season of the sci-fi social thriller SENSE8 launches globally on Friday, May 5th! Well, it looks like I'm going to have to cancel all of my plans and tell my wife that our house guests will have to pencil themselves in for another weekend, because orchestrating a SENSE8 binge is all I can think about.
Today, we've got a brand-new "Cluster Thematic Trailer" for the much-anticipated second season of Lana Wachowski and J. Michael Straczynski super-woke and sexy drama about eight psychically connected individuals who must protect one another while running for their lives from a shadowy organization that aims to experiment on them. This newly released trailer from season two reveals more about the eight discovering the existence of other Sensates within clusters just like them. Will they learn to coexist or will it all come to a head?

In regard to the details of the second season of the show, the official press release states:
From renowned creative geniuses Lana Wachowski, Grant Hill (THE MATRIX, CLOUD ATLAS) and J. Michael Straczynski (Clint Eastwood’s CHANGELING, WORLD WAR Z), SENSE8 is centered around eight characters, from different parts of the world, who experience a violent vision, and soon find themselves mentally connected by the experience. They become connected, able to see and talk to each other as though they were in the same place, with access to each other's deepest secrets. Not only must the eight adapt to this new ability and to each other, they must figure out why their lives are now in jeopardy. In Season 2, dark forces continue to track the cluster of eight connected characters. The sensates will learn more about BPO, the secret organization searching for their cluster and others like them, and will work to protect themselves from this organization that is out to hunt and kill them.
I seriously can't wait to plow through this new season and discover the fates of my favorite Sensates, when they take the battle to Whispers and his league of sinister scientists.
