Based on a true story, Federal agent Bob Mazur (Bryan Cranston) goes deep undercover to infiltrate Pablo Escobar's drug trafficking scene plaguing the nation in 1986 by posing as slick, money-laundering businessman Bob Musella. Teamed with impulsive and streetwise fellow agent Emir Abreu (John Leguizamo) and a rookie agent posing as his fiancé (Diane Kruger), Mazur befriends Escobar's top lieutenant in an effort to navigating a vicious criminal network to build cases leading to the indictments of 85 drug lords and corrupt bankers.

Let's get real: Who wouldn't watch Bryan Cranston in anything? With that said, THE INFILTRATOR looks like it's going to give some tense scenes for Cranston to work his way out of, and some great actors to do it with! Director Brad Furman's (RUNNER RUNNER, THE LINCOLN LAWYER) previous films never did much for me, but I'd say he's on to something really entertaining this time around!

THE INFILTRATOR opens in theaters on July 15, 2016.
