Gareth Edwards’ shoestring creature feature MONSTERS invades the land on October 29th, and it appears io9 has just landed a new clip from the F/X laden romance. We’ve got that shite underneath, in it you’ll see a band of locals explain to our two embattled leads (Scoot McNairy, Whitney Able) the reproductive ways of these so called aliens. Where do they lay their eggs? Why the trees, of course!

Largely expository, the clip basically explains to us the audience, through the two leads, what the alien sequestration is all about. Basically, there’s a giant wall built on the border of Mexico to contain these monsters. Think it’ll work?!?

Six years ago, when NASA discovered the possibility of alien life within our solar system. A probe was launched to collect samples, but crashed upon re-entry over Central America. Soon after new life forms began to appear there and half of Mexico was quarantined as an “Infected Zone.”

Today, the American and Mexican military still struggle to contain “the creatures”… The story begins when a US journalist agrees to escort a shaken American tourist through the infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the US border.

For more MONSTERS info, peep the Official Site for the joint.

Whitney looking quite Able!!!
