The UnPopular Opinion: Spider-man 3

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Welcome back to The UnPopular Opinion! The UnPopular Opinion features different takes on films that either I hated, but that the majority of film fans loved or vice versa. We have always hoped this column will promote constructive and geek fueled discussion. Now, with us entering the visual world, you can get pissed off in a whole new medium!

With so many superhero movies and comic book adaptations hitting the big screen (and pissing off Martin Scorsese), it is easy to lose some movies in the shuffle. For every big AVENGERS movie, there are countless smaller films that we forget about. But, if you loov over the last twenty years of Marvel films, Sam Raimi's SPIDER-MAN trilogy still ranks as one of the best series from any studio or franchise. Yes, that includes the often maligned SPIDER-MAN 3. So, with this new episode of The UnPopular Opinion, we take a look back at why SPIDER-MAN 3 is so underrated and is, in many ways, the best of Raimi's films.

Oh, and if you have any suggestions for The UnPopular Opinion I’m always happy to hear them. You can send along an email to [email protected] or spell it out in the comments below. Provide me with as many movie suggestions as you like, with any reasoning you'd care to share, and if I agree then you may one day see it featured in this very column!
