What fresh hell is this? Warner Bros. has delayed the Andy and Lana Wachowski movie JUPITER ASCENDING from July 18 this summer to February 6, 2015. There is no official reason yet for the push but this one is definitely a surprise considering the movie was opening in seven weeks!

The movie had the July release date for more than a year. The Wachowskis wrote, produced, and directed the movie starring Channing Tatum, Mila Kunis, Eddie Redmayne, and Sean Bean. Let the speculation begin!

Is it a sign of bad quality? Was it bad timing? There is talk that is has to do with more work being needed on special-effects which could be true considering it's a CG spectacle. It's a head scratcher as Tatum is likely to be hot this summer with 22 JUMP STREET. Maybe they want to utilize his award season awareness with FOXCATCHER.

We will keep you posted as the story develops; until then here's a peace-offering:
