Fear The Walking Dead

It’s been rumored for a few weeks now that this was going to be the title of AMC’s The Walking Dead spinoff, and now it has just been confirmed by Robert Kirkman who recently took to Twitter to spill the exciting news. Titled Fear The Walking Dead, the first of six one-hour episodes will see its debut this summer, following up with its second season sometime in 2016.

Fear The Walking Dead is set in L.A. and stars Cliff Curtis (Gang Related), Kim Dickens (Gone Girl), Frank Dillane (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince), and Alycia Debnam Carey (Into the Storm). The Walking Dead’s Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero and David Alpert executive produce the companion series.

I’m not one of those people who was begging for more of The Walking Dead (I quite enjoy the one we have now), but I am interested in seeing how this one will affect The Walking Dead down the line. Oh, and if you're watching The Talking Dead this Sunday, be on the lookout for the first-ever teaser for Fear The Walking Dead.
