Netflix's The Witcher is looking to cast a spell on those monitoring Netflix Geeked's first-ever Geeked Week, a virtual fan-facing event revealing first looks and celebrating all things genre entertainment at Netflix. As a part of the celebration, the streamer conjured a clip for Season 2 of its hit live-action fantasy series that revolves around Freya Allan's Ciri.

In the clip, we find Ciri exploring an elaborate-looking room filled with witcher artifacts, training in a snow-covered forest, and patrolling the grounds of what is likely to be the School of the Wolf's mountain fortress of Kaer Morhen. Finally, Ciri confronts the legacy of Lara Dorren, so you know some sh*t is about to go down.

You can read the full synopsis for The Witcher Season 2 below:

Convinced Yennefer's life was lost at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia brings Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows, his childhood home of Kaer Morhen. While the Continent's kings, elves, humans and demons strive for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power she possesses inside.

In addition to the clip, Netflix unveiled its plans to host WitcherCon in partnership between CD Projekt Red and Netflix. The event will take place on July 9, 2021.

Details concerning WitcherCon appear to have been hit with a darkness spell because they're relatively thin. One thing that won't be there is a new video game in The Witcher series. That said, the event still plans on bringing plenty of surprises to the event.

WitcherCon is a global virtual celebration of The Witcher! This digital convention will be streamed on both Netflix and CD Projekt Red's YouTube and Twitch channels and will be available for co-streaming. The event is supposed to include tons of events and exclusive first looks. Be sure to visit WicherCon for more details, including updates to the schedule.
