This trailer for Everything, Everything will make you want to see the world

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

What would you do if you weren't allowed to touch anything in the outside world? Imagine never being able to breathe fresh air, feel the sun on your face, or rake your fingers through the gentle rapids of a babbling brook. In director Stella Meghie's EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING, Maddy (Amandla Sternberg) is an imaginaive 18-year-old who due to an illness cannot leave the confines of her hermetically sealed home environment. Things are pretty routine for Maddy until Olly, the boy next door, acts as a conduit and reason to explore the outside world regardless of the circumstances.

EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING is based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Nicola Yoon. In addition to starring Amandla Sternberg as the story's inspirational lead character, the film also features Nick Robinson (JURASSIC WORLD) as Olly, with stars Ana de la Reguera (SUN BELT EXPRESS) and Anika Noni Rose (DREAMGIRLS) rounding out the main cast. Meghie will direct the drama-laden tale from a screenplay she wrote with J. Mills Goodloe. With Leslie Morgenstein and Elysa Dutton producing under the Alloy Entertainment label, and Victor Ho executive producing. Additionally, the film will be co-produced by MGM and Warner Bros. Entertainment.

EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING is set for a May 19, 2017 release.
