Three more names added to Fincher’s Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

Now that David Fincher has seen his new change of pace film dominate the world over (critically, financially), perhaps the man feels he has a bit more free rein when it comes to casting his follow up. Not that he was populating his version of THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO exclusively with American actors (as the studio may want), but it appears three more international actors have been added to the cast.

Swedish site Svd.se had dropped dime that Joley Richardson (below), Steven Berkoff and David Dencik are all set to join DRAGON TATTOO, adding to a stable that already includes Rooney Mara, Daniel Craig, Stellan Skarasgard, Robin Wright and Christopher Plummer.

No word on the specific roles each will inhabit, but with two Brits and a Swede…you better believe the level of acting just went up a peg or two (Berkoff was in A CLOCKWORK ORANGE for f*ck’s sake).

From a script by Steve Zallian, THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO hits U.S. theaters December 21, 2011. Filming is currently underway in Stockholm.
