Tobe Hooper helming Arabian haunted house thriller Djinn

It’s nice to have Tobe Hooper back in the fold. With the TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE director getting started on a high-profile horror project, Hooper joins John Carpenter, Joe Dante and John Landis in their Career Resurrection tour.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Hooper will direct DJINN, which is about a young Emirati couple who return home from the U.S. and discover that their new apartment in a luxury high-rise built on the site of an abandoned fishing village is also home to malevolent beings known as Djinn.
