Variety is reporting that actor Tom Felton – “Draco Malfoy” to you Harry Potter nuts – has joined the cast of Todd Lincoln’s THE APPARITION, which is Dark Castle’s latest joint.
Felton joins TWILIGHT star Ashley Greene (she’s the one with the silly hair – that should narrow it down for you), Sebastian Stan, and Julianna Guill in the spooky tale about a young couple haunted by a supernatural presence unleashed during a college experiment. Apparently, Felton is portraying an expert in the supernatural, which is weird, because I still picture him as a 15-year-old. (I suppose my choice of picture doesn’t help…)
Production started last week in Berlin, and will continue in Los Angeles in March. Joel Silver is producing with Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman while Steve Richards, Sue Baden Powell and Daniel Alter are exec producing. No release date has been set.
And so it has finally happened: TWILIGHT and HARRY POTTER have converged. God help us all.
