Total Recall getting must have 30th anniversary 4K ultra HD release

TOTAL RECALL turned 30 on June 1, 2020, and to celebrate its milestone anniversary, Lionsgate and Studiocanal are releasing a 4K restoration of the Paul Verhoeven 1990 sci-fi classic.

The newly-restored edition will arrive on December 8, 2020, with your usual Blu-ray, DVD, and digital releases but the real prize is the 5-disc 4K Ultra-HD Collector’s Edition, including a double-sided poster, art cards, a 48-page booklet with writing about the film and the film’s soundtrack on CD. If you needed a reason to "Get your ass to Mars", this is it. 

TOTAL RECALL stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as Douglas Quaid, a construction worker who suddenly finds himself embroiled in espionage on Mars and unable to determine if the experiences are real or the result of memory implants. The film, loosely based on the 1966 Philip K. Dick short story "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale", also stars Sharon Stone, Rachel Ticotin, Ronny Cox, and Michael Ironside.
