Trailer: A slasher wears a clown mask made of human flesh in Clownface

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Wild Eye Releasing has announced an August 18th DVD and Digital release date for writer/director Alex Bourne's slasher CLOWNFACE, and we've got the trailer embedded above to help you figure out if this is a movie you'd like to see.

CLOWNFACE tells the story of

a deranged young man, donned in a clown mask made of human flesh, terrorizing a small town with a series of abductions and murders. Neighbors Jenna and Owen search for their missing friend Zoe, who may be the latest victim of this local urban legend known as Clownface.

The film was produced by Mark Adams. The cast includes Philip Bailey, Hannah Douglas, Richard Buck, Thomas Loone, Dani Tonks, Leah Solmaz, Abigail Wisdom, Chloe Rose Fisher, and Dani Thompson.

I'm always interested in watching more slasher movies, so I'll check this one out. August 18th seems like the perfect release date for CLOWNFACE, since his flesh mask-wearing buddy Leatherface had an eventful August 18th back in 1973.
