Several months ago, I had the chance to watch director Julian Richards' supernatural thriller REBORN, which pits '80s icons Barbara Crampton, Michael Paré, and Rae Dawn Chong against a troubled teen with electrokinetic abilities. I found the movie to be entertaining enough to give it a 7/10 review, so I'm glad to hear that it will soon be widely available in the United States.

Jinga Films has announced that they will be giving REBORN a VOD release in the US on September 17th. Along with this announcement comes the release of a trailer, which is embedded below.

Scripted by Michael Mahin from a story by producer Jeannie McGinnis, REBORN shows what happens when

a stillborn baby girl is abducted by a morgue attendant and brought back to life by electrokinetic power. On her sixteenth birthday she escapes captivity and sets out to find her birth mother, leaving a trail of destruction behind her.

Kayleigh Gilbert plays the destructive teen. Chaz Bono and Monte Markham are also in the cast.

Give the trailer a look and get ready for REBORN to hit VOD in just under two months.
