Last Updated on August 2, 2021

The appreciation for Italian horror classics comes through loud and clear in the trailer for writer/director Mattia De Pascali's upcoming film BEYOND THE OMEGA. The trailer is embedded above, and promises that the film is going packed with sex, violence, and colorful lighting.

Starring Lorenzo Lepori, Benedetta Rossi, Pio Bisanti, Alex Lucchesi, and Lucia Pipchak, BEYOND THE OMEGA tells the story of

a man that always followed the rules of religion, the holy law that promises life after death. But when the real, earthly end breaks into the everyday life of this man, ripping away the life of his mate, nothing is left of his faith. His love is forever bound to death and the vital impulse of sex changes into necrophilia. There’s no redemption for the man who loves death. Once you danced with her, you’re lost in her cold, putrid embrace.

An alternative synopsis goes like this:

Aristodemo is a shy and compliant man that's just about to get married. When a maniac kills his fiancée, the man isolates himself in a lonely cabin in the woods. He seeks comfort in an absurd relationship with a lifesize doll, but he won’t be able to resist a spiral into madness.

A Baionetta Production, BEYOND THE OMEGA was produced by Lepori. The film is set to be released on DVD, Blu-ray, and VOD this October.
