Terminal Margot Robbie Vaughn Stein

It's only been one week since the teaser trailer for writer/director Vaughn Stein's thriller TERMINAL arrived online, so I was surprised to see that a full trailer for the film has already been released. But when the movie is set to reach theatre screens in just over a month, it makes sense that they're getting the marketing materials out there quickly.

TERMINAL looks like an interesting oddity to me. I can't imagine that many members of the general audience are going to be enticed to go see the movie after watching the trailer, which is embedded below. Unless there's a lot of people who are going to turn up just to see star Margot Robbie – who does appear to be having a lot of fun playing her role. Beyond that, I don't think even the dazzling cinematography is going to get people to pay theatre prices for this… But I could be wrong.

Regardless, the film does look beautiful, and Robbie has a great supporting cast to bounce off of: Simon Pegg, Dexter Fletcher, Max Irons, and Mike Myers.

The story is set in

the dark heart of a sprawling anonymous city and follows the twisting tales of two assassins carrying out a sinister mission, a teacher battling a fatal illness, an enigmatic janitor, and a curious waitress leading a dangerous double life. Murderous consequences unravel in the dead of night as their lives all intertwine at the hands of a mysterious criminal mastermind hell-bent on revenge.

TERMINAL will be released on May 11th. Check out the trailer below and decide if you'll be among the film's theatrical audience.
