While I patiently wait for another entry in the Norwegian slasher franchise COLD PREY, a trailer has arrived online to show me that I have another Norwegian horror movie to look forward to. This other horror film is titled ALL MUST DIE and is expected to get a release sometime in 2020.
Directed by Geir Greni, who also wrote the screenplay with Robert Naess, ALL MUST DIE tells the following story:
Gina is about to get married when her friends kidnap her as a joke for a last all-out bachelorette party. Gina’s friends have rented a country house in the woods, miles away from the nearest neighbor. A perfect setting for a horror-themed bachelorette party. Dressed in red latex and all on her own, Gina has to complete a creepy game of challenges. However, what begins as fun soon turns seriously weird, when disturbing events start occurring. Is it part of the planning or is Gina about to lose her grip of reality?
This set-up reminds me of the scene in BRIDESMAIDS where Kristen Wiig's character puts forth the idea of having a bachelorette party at a lake house, an idea that is quickly vetoed in favor of partying in Las Vegas. Now ALL MUST DIE comes along to show just how bad a bachelorette party at a lake house can be.
Viktoria Winge, Julia Schacht, Veslemoy Morkerid, Marte Saeteren, Tinashe Williamson, and Linni Meister star in ALL MUST DIE, which was produced by Snurr Films.
