Now, here's a movie that gets me excited about 2017. A trailer has just dropped for the upcoming Polish flick THE LURE (aka CÓRKI DANCINGU), which our own JimmyO gave a stellar 8/10 review, and looks incredible. For those of you horror fans who are too hardcore to check out the Oscar frontrunner LA LA LAND (though you really should), THE LURE might be much more up your alley. Get this: It's a horror musical about man-eating mermaids. Who wouldn't want to see that?
The film is the directorial debut of Agnieszka Smoczynska, and the trailer shows off a strength of vision I'm definitely excited to check out. Between this and DEMON, Poland seems to be a real up-and-comer in the foreign horror cinema scene. Take a look below!
