Trailer unleashed for Chinese monster movie Abyssal Spider!

What's worse than a giant shark at sea? A giant SPIDER at sea! That's the premise of the Chinese giant monster movie ABYSSAL SPIDER (a.k.a. MAD SPIDER), which just unleashed a new trailer! Here's the official synopsis:

Sea rescuer Ajie (Wang Yangming) and his companions went to the aid of a reef tanker in trouble in a storm but the captain was stubborn and unwilling to give up. At the same time, a dark shadow haunted the deep sea and dragged everyone into the sea. From then on, survivor Ajie, still bearing the sorrow caused by the death of colleagues, became decadent and disheartened.

Meanwhile, MAD SPIDER SEA aka ABYSSAL SPIDER – directed by Joe Chien and starring Sunny Wang, Cheng Jen-Shuo, Ke Jiayan, Li Liren, Li Kangsheng, Lian Kai, Xie Peien, Jiu Kong, and Chunfeng – was released in Tawain on September 11th, but will let you know as soon as a North American release date is revealed!

So what do you guys think? What are your favorite giant (non-shark) sea creatures? Either way, sound off below!
