Trailer: Vampires vs. the Bronx, part of this year’s Netflix & Chills lineup

A couple weeks ago, Netflix announced the full line-up for their "Netflix and Chills" event, which will see bunch of genre films and shows being added to the streaming service throughout the Halloween season. One of the films on the list was director Oz Rodriguez's intriguingly titled VAMPIRES VS. THE BRONX, which will be available to watch as of October 2nd.

With the premiere date just a few days away, a trailer for VAMPIRES VS. THE BRONX has arrived online. The trailer is embedded above, and the film's poster art can be seen below.

Written by Oz Rodriguez and Blaise Hemingway, this movie has a very simple synopsis that doesn't reveal much more than what is already said in the title. Which is fine, because I didn't need to read a synopsis or watch a trailer to be sold on the movie, the title already did the job.

Here's the synopsis:

A group of young friends from the Bronx fight to save their neighborhood from a band of vampires.

Jaden Michael, Gerald W. Jones III, Gregory Diaz IV, Sarah Gadon, Cliff "Method Man" Smith, Shea Whigham, Coco Jones, Joel "The Kid Mero" Martinez, Chris Redd, Vladimir Caamaño, Jeremie Harris, Adam David Thompson, Judy Marte, Richard Bekins, and Zoe Saldaña star.

Saturday Night Live's Lorne Michaels and Erin David produced.
