Wow, that’s the lamest title I’ve ever done. But
I will make up for it by sharing the still above from the film TRICK r TREAT.
The film is written and directed by
Michael Dougherty and is a combination of four spooky stories culminating into
one fantastic flick. In the flick nothing is what it seems
when a suburban couple learns the dangers of blowing out a Jack-o-Lantern before
midnight; four women cross paths with a costumed stalker at a local festival; a
group of pranksters goes too far and discovers the horrifying truth buried in a
local legend; and a cantankerous old hermit is visited by a strange trick-or-treater
with a few bones to pick.
It sounds pretty great and
I love the multiple story angle. Reminds me of the hypnotic hold that
CREEPSHOW 2 had over me as a child. The pic is looking sweet too, and
I love the natural light look that it possesses. TRICK r TREAT is slated to hit
theatres October 5th, so make sure and check back here as more info on the film
develops.
