Late last night while most of us
were sleeping, fellow scribe Omar was creeping through cyber space and reported
here
about how David Arquette’s horror flick THE TRIPPER now has it’s official
trailer online. Well now to go along with said trailer is the official one-sheet
seen above, and it is looking awesome!
THE TRIPPER is about a guy
who is so obsessed with ex-President Ronald Regan that he goes on a killing
spree amongst some stoned ‘hippies’ at an outdoor music festival. And may that
this film in whole so far is looking WAY better than I ever expected it to be!
Also Arquette has now decided to
distribute the film on his own since the After Dark Film people wanted to change
the date from it’s original April 20th (Stoner New Years!) release date. He’s
asked that everyone contact their local theatres about carrying the film and
than email the information back to him. It’s a pretty risky thing to do on
his behalf, but hopefully it’ll work out in the end.
So THE TRIPPER will still hit
a theatre near you (hopefully) come 4-20, and until than you can enjoy the
trailer
