Ms. SILENT HILL herself Radha Mitchell and recent Oscar-nominee Adriana Barraza have signed on to co-star with Luke Wilson in the upcoming comedy HENRY POOLE IS HERE. The film will star Wilson as a man who is mistakenly diagnosed as having only weeks to live. He returns to his old neighborhood, content to drink and eat Twinkies until the end when he notices a stain on the wall that resembles Jesus. As you might expect, this attracts a little attention and brings Poole out of his funk. Mark Pellington is directing the film and he says it’s “a wonderful story about a hopeless man who finds hope.” When am I gonna find some hope?! What’s a guy gotta do around here to get just a little bit of hope??… Filming is scheduled to begin this summer in Los Angeles. Mitchell can be seen next in the follow-up film from WOLF CREEK director Greg McLean, ROGUE, this fall.
