Two Lovers Poster

I recently saw James Gray’s epic cop drama WE OWN THE NIGHT and was surprised at much I enjoyed it. Wahlberg was his usual stellar self and Joaquin Phoenix gave a fiery performance as a brother torn. So normally, a poster such as the one below, for a film called TWO LOVERS–a romantic drama about a bachelor torn between the family friend his parents wish he would marry and his sketchy new neighbor–would not interest me whatsoever. Let’s face it, the poster is boring as all hell. But upon learning that the film is directed by James Gray, the man behind WE OWN THE NIGHT, I can’t help but be intrigued.
