Two more sign on to be haunted by Annabelle

We've known for a few months now that New Line would be giving THE CONJURING's creepy Annabelle doll her own film and now we've learned that Eric Ladin (“The Killing”) and Brian Howe (DEVIL'S KNOT, “Justified”) have signed on to be terrorized by the doll, set to star alongside the previously announced Annabelle Wallis (X-MEN: FIRST CLASS) and Ward Horton (THE WOLF OF WALL STREET) in New Line Cinema’s THE CONJURING spinoff, ANNABELLE.

As previously reported, John Leonetti, who served as the cinematographer on THE CONJURING, is directing from a script by Gary Dauberman. Peter Safran is producing, while THE CONJURING director James Wan is among the executive producers.

I'm not sure how many people are actually excited about the idea of the Annabelle doll getting her very own horror flick, but I do think that New Line is on to something here. The doll was creepy as shit and it certainly left one hell of an impression on a lot of people despite the fact that she is hardly in the movie at all. I guess we'll have to wait and see! As for me…well, I'm a sucker for killer/haunted doll flicks, so this one is most definitely on my radar!
