An early contender for best documentary at next year’s Oscars has got to be TYSON. The film by James Toback has been absolutely tearing up the festival circuit. It features original interviews with the man himself, as well as archival footage and photographs that shed light on the life experiences of Mike Tyson. Many perceive Tyson as a monster personafied, a brutal man who suffers from an uncontrollable appetite for all the stuff that me and you think about when we’re alone at night. This movie apparently humanizes the man, and according to the big-name testimonials on the side of the newly released poster, the film’s an absolute knock out! Ha!
