US: Regeneration trailer

Damn this trailer rules! Seriously, I’m not sure a more epic cinematic experience can be had than a Van Damme/Dolph Lundgren showdown. As two of the most entertaining and ass-whooping action stars who ever came about, it’s kind of a shame the two have only shared the screen once in the past, in the 1992 film UNIVERSAL SOLDIER. Well folks, the two are back and no doubt looking to settle the score for good in John Hyam’s UNIVERSAL SOLDIER: REGENERATION.

And we’ve got an awesome, action-packed trailer for the flick you can see below!

With former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei “The Pit Bull” Arlovski, as well as Corey Johnson, Zahary Baharov, Aki Avni, Jon Foo, Garry Cooper, Emily Joyce, John Laskowski, Violeta Markovska and Mike Pyle all taking part, US: REGENERATION gets going when:

With stolen top-secret technology, terrorists have created anext-generation Universal Soldier – an elite fighter genetically altered into a programmable killing machine. With this “UniSol” (Arlovski) leading the way, they seize the crippled Chernobyl nuclear reactor, threatening to unleash a lethal radioactive cloud. The only one who can stop them is Luc Deveraux (JCVD), a UniSol who’s been decommissioned for years.

Reactivated and retrained, Deveraux must make a full-out assault on the heavily armed fortress. But inside, he’ll discover not one but two of these virtually indestructible warriors. Andrew Scott (Lundgren), Deveraux’s vicious UniSol enemy from the original UNIVERSAL SOLDIER, has been secretly reanimated and upgraded. Now, these elite fighters are locked, loaded and programmed to kill; and the fate of millions hinges on this high-action showdown.

I’ll say it again, damn this trailer rules! Watch below and tell us if you agree!
