Shivers Entertainment and Darkside Releasing have teamed up for the home video release of writer/director Vince D'Amato's giallo thriller VALLEY OF THE RATS (a.k.a. ODISSEA DELLA MORTE), with the film available for purchase on Blu-ray as of today, March 27th.

Starring Tristan Risk, Momona Komagata, and Jesse Inocalla, with a special appearance by Lynn Lowry, the film has the following synopsis:

A young man is accused of his ex-girlfriend's murder. Before he is formally charged by the police, he sets out on a two-day odyssey to find the real killer: tracking down his leads from the backseat of a rented limousine. This allows him to converse and ponder class, society, life in the city, and to contemplate the dirt that runs in the small nooks and valleys of cosmopolitan life. Mid-way through the film, the style transforms into Brivido Giallo contemporary, wordless operatic imagery of sex and violence.

If you'd like to pick up a copy, there are multiple options to choose from, including the standard 2-disc edition; an ultra-limited (100 units) triple Blu-ray edition, which includes an full-length live performance by Risk's Caravan of Creeps burlesque troupe; signed copies of that limited edition; a release that pairs VALLEY OF THE RATS with the film HOUSE OF VHS; and (exclusive to Shivers Entertainment) the international ODISSEA DELLA MORTE cut of the film. (There are only 500 copies of the international cut available.)

To help you decide which edition to purchase, the trailers for both cuts of the film are embedded below. But be warned, these trailers are NSFW. (There are nipples.)
