Jean-Claude Van Damme and Vinnie Jones (MEAN MACHINE) will star in WEAPONS. The film is about the world’s two best assassins, who are forced to team up to take down the head of a DEA-backed drug cartel. Jones will play a sharp-shooter, while Van Damme will play a knife… guy. Russell Mulcahy (HIGHLANDER) will direct.
On New Years Day 1962, record producer Dick Rowe listened to The Beatles audition for him. He told them “no thanks guys, guitar music is on the way out.” When Van Damme turned down THE EXPENDABLES it was not totally unlike that day.
