Various elements get bent in the new trailer for The Last Airbender

The new trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s THE LAST AIRBENDER is packed with flashy FX — just think how much more dazzling they’ll look in 3D! Assuming the studio has enough time to do a better conversion than CLASH OF THE TITANS, anyway…

The live-action adaptation of the Miyazaki-influenced animated TV series (which drops the original AVATAR name, for the obvious Cameron-related reasons) is set in a fantasy world and follows a reluctant young hero who can manipulate the elements using martial arts and CGI. The movie opens July 2nd.
