Veronica Mars goes meta in new web series

For my fellow Marshmallows, we have more Veronica Mars coming our way in the form of a unique web series entitled Play It Again, Dick. The webisodes will follow actor Ryan Hansen, who played Dick Casablancas. Hansen will play a fictionalized version of himself who wants to have a spinoff series created of his V-Mars character, Dick. Pretty much all of the original Veronica Mars cast will portray both their real-life selves and on-screen personas.

Thanks to a recommendation from Kevin Smith, I sat down to watch Veronica Mars and enjoyed every sickly, sweet episode of teenage angst, sleuthing, and Kristen Bell being a smart-mouthed badass. While the VERONICA MARS film was fan service and a half, I still loved the hell out of revisiting the town of Neptune and seeing what Mars Investigations was up to. I also love everyone's passion for the world of Mars and I'll take whatever more Rob Thomas wants to throw at us regarding his characters. At the very least, this looks to be an interesting take on the actors who play the characters of V-Mars.

Play It Again, Dick will hit CWSeed on September 15, 2014.

I love Kristen Bell for her mind . . . but this isn't bad either.
