Actor Vin Diesel isn’t afraid to share with his fans what’s going on in his professional life, as evidenced by the multiple updates he’s given on his projects via his Facebook page. In fact, almost all of our updates regarding the proposed next third Riddick film has come from this source. Today, Diesel has teased some more info regarding RIDDICK 3 (which hopefully soon jettisons the awful subtitle DEAD MAN STALKING), and it’s food for thought to say the least:
So the director of Riddick, my partner on COR since the beginning, DT… has a new challenge in store. He wants me to have 3 different body looks for this next chapter… this will make the production schedule a little tricky. We will need to take off in between shooting to get to the appropriate look for each part of the story.
There is the Jackie DiNorscio type, the Dom type, and the lean Furyan type… but all in the same movie, haha… hey, when it comes to art we always like a challenge.
For those of you not getting the references, “Jackie DiNorscio” was the character Diesel played in FIND ME GUILTY (Diesel gained 30 lbs. for the role), “Dom” is the genius Diesel plays in the FAST AND THE FURIOUS movies, and Furyan refers to the race of people the Riddick character hails from.
