Last week came the news that an international roundup of successful genre directors are pooling their collective talent for PARIS, I’LL KILL YOU…an anthological horror send up to PARIS, JE T’AIME. One of the filmmakers in the bunch is CUBE and SPLICE director Vincenzo Natali (who also worked on PARIS JE T’AIME), who took the time to explain a little about his segment of I’LL KILL YOU to Bleedingcool. Take a look at what he had to say…

Regarding his segment, called PRET-A-MANGER (which translates to “Ready to Eat”), Natali stated:

There isn’t too much to tell at the moment, but it’s a very exciting project and I’m honored to participate in the company of such esteemed filmmakers, a number of whom I know personally. Having had wonderful experience on Paris Je T’aime, I had no hesitation revisiting the world’s most beautiful city but this time with MORE blood. My segment takes place in the world of high fashion, it’s called Pret-a-Manger. I think that gives you a sense of the direction I’m going in. We haven’t begun casting yet but as far as I know we will be shooting in the spring.

“Ready to Eat” in the high fashion world? Sounds like a bloody good time to be had, no? Wonder if the title has any reference to the brand of deli-sandwiches sold in Europe…Pret-A-Manger. Shite, now I’m ready to eat!

More on PARIS, I’LL KILL YOU when we load it.
