The following poster is not a joke, although it’s pretty darn funny. We haven’t seen a North American poster for the film VIRGIN TERRITORY, formerly known as DECMARON, but here comes one from the sexy country of France. The film stars Hayden Christensen and Mischa Barton as young aristocratic Florentines who tell each other stories of love and adventure to pass the time while a plague decimates the city around them. There is nothing funny about a plague, you say. But take a look at the way this thing is being marketed in France. First off, it’s called MEDIEVAL PIE, and secondly, the font and logo are identical to the AMERICAN PIE movies. I sincerely hope this isn’t the case on this side of the pond. Christensen is lucky he has JUMPER hitting theatres soon, because after AWAKE and this, he’ll be in dire need of a hit.
