New WandaVision promo counts down the Marvel series premiere

Marvel Studios has released a new promo for WandaVision to mark one month until the superhero series arrives on Disney Plus.

In the promo, The Platters 1950s classic "Twilight Time" plays atop a series of tension-building drums, as we find Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) thrust into one remarkable scenario after another. And if you pay attention, you just might catch a glimpse of Kathryn Hahn's Agnes, who is believed by many to actually be Agatha Harkness in disguise, and Kat Dennings as her adorkable Thor character, Darcy Lewis.

Set after the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019), Wanda Maximoff and Vision are living the ideal suburban life in the town of Westview, trying to conceal their powers. But as they begin to enter new decades and encounter television tropes, the couple suspects things are not as they seem.

You can check out the new promo below:

In addition to Olsen and Bettany, WandaVision will also star Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, a character who was introduced as a child in CAPTAIN MARVEL, and Randall Park as Marvel's favorite FBI agent Jimmy Woo.

If you ask me, WandaVision is going to be trippier than that time my Dad stole drugs out of Timothy Leary's private stash. Also, does anyone get the feeling that Vision is still dead during the events of WandaVision? Perhaps Wanda has suffered some manner of psychotic break and the suburban prison we've found her in is her way of working through the pain? I mean, I don't know for sure, but something sure doesn't smell right when Marvel's twisted version of Pleasantville traps you inside a living nightmare. I'm just saying, I won't be surprised if we find out this is all a part of Wanda's grief.

Thankfully, we won't have long to wait until we find out as WandaVision premieres on Disney Plus on January 15, 2021.
