Adapted from Stieg Larsson’s bestselling book by Steve Zallian, THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO begins:
Forty years ago, when Harriet Vanger disappeared from a family gathering on the island owned and inhabited by the powerful Vanger clan. Her body was never found, yet her uncle is convinced it was murder and that the killer is a member of his own tightly knit but dysfunctional family. He employs disgraced financial journalist Mikael Blomkvist and the tattooed, ruthless computer hacker Lisbeth Salander to investigate. Of course, the terms goth and punk are debatable terms. There is no doubt that Rooney Mara fits the bill in these photos and the description. And Daniel Craig, Stellan Skarasgard, Robin Wright, Christopher Plummer, Joley Richardson, Steven Berkoff and David Dencik will no doubt make Rooney better than she is on her own.
