Two additional clips from Morgan J. Freeman’s revenge thriller HOMECOMING, starring Mischa Barton and Jessica Stroup, have just crossed the wire. That makes 6 we’ve seen in the last week, quite a lot for a flick that went relatively unnoticed last year. Be that as it may, the movie finally makes its U.S. DVD premiere next Tuesday (4/20, yo!) Get a gander at the clips and see if this sucka’s something you can groove on!
Rerunning this bad boy, we find Mike to be the star quarterback in a blue-collar small town where football is everything. After receiving a scholarship to Northwestern University, he returns home over Christmas break and everyone is surprised to see him with a new girlfriend, Elizabeth, a pretty rich girl from Chicago. No one is more shocked than Mike’s homecoming queen ex-girlfriend, Shelby, who desperately wants Elizabeth out of the picture. After a freak car accident leaves an injured Elizabeth at the mercy of Shelby, all hell breaks loose as Shelby does everything it takes to get Mike back.
The first clip below, entitled “Escape,” witness Mischa Barton’s character get cold decked in the grill with the top of a toilet main. It’s damn good viewing if I do say so.
“Axe,” the second clip, is actually an extended version of prior clip we showed you called “The Phone Ain’t Working.” Instead of picking right up in the kitchen, watch Jessica Stroup’s character saunter out of bed, witness Barton chopping some wood, then get interrupted as she tries to phone out for help.
