Watch the deputies of Reno 911! bumble through a daily Zoom briefing

Everyone knows that morning meetings at the workplace can be rough, especially when attempting to corral several of your co-workers onto a shared video platform. Then, if you add technological ineptitude to the mix, you're pretty much begging for trouble. I wish that I could tell you that the deputies of RENO 911! have the particulars of the video conferencing service Zoom all figured out … But they don't. In fact, it's a pretty cringe-worthy scene at best, and Quibi today has invited us all to witness what can only be described as a garbage fire of a debriefing session.

For the next three days, the Reno 911! deputies will be testing out Zoom daily briefings. The revived crime comedy was recently greenlit for a new, seventh season by Quibi with producing partner Comedy Central Productions. The ensemble comedy was created by and stars Robert Ben Garant, Kerri Kenney-Silver and Thomas Lennon, all of whom are attached to write and star in the new season. Peter Principato of Artists First will executive produce the series along with Danny DeVito, Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher of Jersey Television. Wendi McLendon-Covey will also produce the series.

For those of you who'd missed the first six seasons of RENO 911!, the show let viewers ride shotgun with the courageous men and women of the Reno Sheriff’s Department as they lay down the law and put their lives on the line.

Thankfully, all of your favorite officers are back for the revival, including Robert Ben Garant as Deputy Travis Junior; Thomas Lennon as Lt. Jim Dangle; Kerri Kenney-Silver as Deputy Trudy Wiegel; Niecy Nash as Deputy Raineesha Williams; Wendi McLendon-Covey as Deputy Clementine Johnson; Cedric Yarbrough as Deputy S. Jones; Carlos Alazraqui as Deputy James Garcia; Ian Roberts as Sergeant Jack Declan; Joe Lo Truglio as Deputy Frank Rizzo; and Mary Birdsong as Deputy Cherisha Kimball.
