[REC] 2 finally infects theatergoers a week from Friday (July 9th), and to make damn sure we don’t lose sight of its smaller stature (remember, PREDATORS opens the same day), Filmax and Magnet Releasing has just issued the final U.S. red-band trailer for the movie. Not a ton new here, but if you’re as stoked as I am for this rabid bastard, you might wanna have a go at her below!
Directed by Paco Plaza and Jaume Balaguero, from a script they wrote with Manu Diaz, [REC] 2 commences:
Only minutes since the authorities lost contact with those trapped inside the virus-stricken apartment block, now completely sealed off from the outside world. Chaos reigns outside and a SWAT team, equipped with video cameras, has been sent in to try and control the situation. However, no one is prepared for the evil that awaits them and, once again, they must keep recording…no matter what!
Manuela Velasco (below), Jonathan Mellor, Ferran Terrazza, Ariel Casas, Oscar Zafra Pablo Rosso and Pep Molina are among the principal players in the film.
