Exactly a month ago we dished to y’all the DVD/Blu-ray specs for the psychological thriller ABANDONED, which tragically marks the final film of the late Brittany Murphy. Now that the flick is set to stock shelves next month, a newly minted trailer for Michael Feifer’s film has just fell at our feet. Take a look at her below!

Written by Peter Sullivan and Jeffrey Schenck, ABANDONED follows Mary Walsh (Murphy) as she delivers boyfriend Kevin (Dean Cain) to a hospital for a routine outpatient surgery. But when Mary returns to take him home, he is nowhere to be found. The hospital administrator (Mimi Rogers) can’t find any record of him, and a police search turns up nothing.

Increasingly frantic, Mary is taken to a staff psychiatrist, Dr. Bensley (Peter Bogdanovich) who pronounces her unstable. Now, she must not only find her missing boyfriend, but prove her own sanity. When a stranger informs Mary he knows of Kevin’s whereabouts, but demands a $10 million ransom, Mary realizes that to save herself and the man she loves, she must use any means necessary.

Stan Bly, Javen Campbell, Caia Coley, Kristen Kerr, Scott Anthony Leet, Jay Pickett and Tara Subkoff also star in the picture.

ABANDONED hits DVD/Blu-ray on August 24th. PRE-ORDER A COPY OF HERE!

RIP Brittany!
