The transference of Andy Serkis into the CGI Caesar is absolutely breathtaking, and now you can get a look at how seamless the process is in this short but sweet clip of Serkis reciting an ominous, foreboding speech before transforming into the ape Caesar.

The motion capture work in these movies stands as some of the best visual effects work in all of movie history. No, there isn’t the world creation like STAR WARS and AVATAR, but the work Weta has done in taking actors, capturing their essence, and then turning it into an entirely CG character has been nothing short of extraordinary to see evolve. This next movie should take everything to the next level, so I don't know if my brain will be able to handle it. I'm just a puny human!
